The Location of the Academy

Nestled upon an elevated plateau rising from the endless oceans of Dac stands the Jedi Academy, a Temple unlike any other within the Galactic Republic.

Far removed from the crowded skylanes of Coruscant and the bustling worlds of the Core, the Academy was established upon one of the Republic's most peaceful oceanic worlds; a place where the rhythm of the tides, the warmth of the sunlight and the quiet beauty of the sea constantly remind its residents of the harmony sought by every Jedi.

Though modest in size when compared to the great temples of history, the Academy was never intended to rival them in grandeur. Instead, it was built with a different purpose: to create a home where students, Knights and Masters might live, learn and grow together beneath one roof.

Its architecture reflects that philosophy. Unlike many traditional Jedi structures, the Temple embraces its surroundings rather than shutting them out.

Towering transparisteel walls stretch throughout much of the Academy, allowing natural sunlight to pour into the halls by day, while the moon and stars illuminate its corridors after sunset. From almost every room, the vast oceans of Dac remain visible, their ever-changing colours and gentle reflections becoming part of everyday life within the Academy itself.

Every journey begins at the Academy's highest point.

Visitors arriving aboard shuttlecraft are welcomed upon the spacious landing platform, where the endless horizon of Dac stretches in every direction. The Jedi Academy's resident Protocol Droid greets arriving guests from a reception station positioned beside the central elevator, assisting visitors, coordinating arrivals and ensuring that every guest receives a proper welcome before entering the Temple itself.

Descending one level brings visitors directly into the heart of the Jedi Archives.

They occupy an immense open hall crowned by a magnificent glass ceiling that floods the chamber with natural light throughout the day. Seemingly endless bookshelves stretch between elegant study tables, while ancient holocrons, carefully preserved artifacts and sculptural tributes stand among the collections they protect.

At the very centre, a tranquil fountain provides a constant melody of flowing water, encouraging quiet reflection as students immerse themselves in centuries of accumulated wisdom.

To the east, the Archives gracefully opens into the Rooftop Garden.

Here, carefully manicured plants weave together a tapestry unlike most. They are tended by the Academy's diligent gardening droids.

Standing proudly near the edge of the gardens is The Three Sisters, three magnificent trees growing closely together. Over the years, they have quietly become one of the Academy's most recognisable meeting places.

Nestled nearby lies one of the Academy's smallest yet most treasured rooms; a modest meditation chamber, designed for no more than two people, offers a quiet sanctuary for private conversation, meditation or simple companionship.

Bathed in warm sunlight during the day and gentle moonlight throughout the evening, it has become something of an Academy tradition that fresh snacks somehow always seem to find their way inside.

Continuing onward leads into the Academy's Greenhouse.

Far more than a botanical garden, it provides fresh fruits, vegetables, fungi and countless other ingredients that support everyday life within the Temple. Carefully maintained under controlled conditions, it represents both the Academy's commitment to self-sufficiency and its enduring respect for the Living Force expressed through nature itself.

Beyond the Greenhouse lies the Cantina.

Warm, welcoming and rarely empty, it serves as one of the Academy's principal gathering places. Tables overlook the surrounding gardens through towering transparisteel walls, allowing conversations to continue amidst beautiful natural surroundings.

Freshly prepared meals are served throughout the day and freshly baked pies and cakes have become something of an Academy institution.

Opposite the Cantina stands the Council Lobby.

Elegant without being imposing, it provides access to the Jedi Council Chamber beyond.

Here, the Academy's Local Jedi Council gathers to deliberate upon matters affecting the Temple, its students and its future. Though modest in scale, the chamber reflects the Academy's philosophy perfectly: thoughtful discussion, mutual respect and wisdom valued above grandeur.

The third level forms the heart of everyday life within the Academy.

Communal guest quarters welcome visiting Jedi and representatives of the Republic, providing comfortable accommodation alongside secure access to much of the Academy's digital archives and communications network.

Nearby lies the Forge, where generations of Jedi have assembled, repaired and maintained their lightsabers. For many students, constructing their first lightsaber within these walls represents one of the defining moments of their journey.

The adjoining Dormitories reflect one of the Academy's oldest traditions.

Regardless of rank, every resident shares the same living quarters. Masters sleep alongside Initiates, Knights alongside students, reinforcing the belief that humility, fellowship and equality remain lifelong Jedi virtues rather than privileges earned through promotion.

The Droid Workshop ensures that the Academy's many mechanical companions continue to serve faithfully, while skilled Artisans maintain, repair and improve countless pieces of specialised equipment.

Across the Temple Grounds, enormous transparisteel walls allow sunlight to flood every corridor while offering uninterrupted views of Dac's surrounding oceans.

Dominating the northern edge stands the Sparring Ring, where students and instructors gather daily to study the elegant art of lightsaber combat.

Flanking the open grounds stand two immense Republic defensive batteries. So carefully integrated into the Academy's architecture that many visitors mistake them for decorative towers, they serve as silent guardians overlooking the vast ocean. A constant reminder that although the Jedi pursue peace above all else, they remain prepared to defend those entrusted to their care.

Nearby, the Twins have quietly become another cherished Academy landmark. Their broad canopies offer welcome shade throughout the day, making them a favourite gathering place for students between lessons and one of the Temple's most familiar meeting points.

To the east, the Oceanfront Classroom provides an inspiring setting for instruction and lectures of various nature.

The adjoining Medbay combines advanced Republic technology with carefully cultivated plants to create an atmosphere where healing extends beyond medicine alone.

Further beyond lie the Supply Depot and past it is the Training Hall and the Advanced Combat Room, where sophisticated training systems, combat droids and analytical computers allow students to refine their abilities under carefully controlled conditions.

Connecting the Temple Grounds with its open courtyards is the Garden of Sculptures.

Water features and elegant sculptures crafted from metals native to Dac transform this central passage into one of the Temple's most peaceful gathering spaces.

Beneath the ocean's surface, the Academy reveals perhaps its most extraordinary level.

The Underwater Observatory rests entirely below the waves, surrounded on nearly every side by the breathtaking ecosystems of Dac's ocean floor.

At its centre stands the Hall of Tranquility.

Here, comfortable seating, aquariums and grand views of the surrounding waters create an atmosphere unlike anywhere else within the Temple.

Standing quietly among the hall is the Stele of Memories, upon which the names of former residents who have passed into history are forever preserved. Curiously, glowing vines have gradually claimed portions of the chamber and despite repeated attempts to remove them, they invariably return, their gentle luminescence adding an almost mystical quality to the hall.

To the south of the hall lies the Astronomy Chamber, where sweeping ocean views surround a semicircle of seats facing an advanced holotable capable of projecting detailed maps, astronomical data and mission briefings.

To the northwest rests the Research Room, frequently utilised by Investigators, Researchers and scholars pursuing every discipline imaginable.

Adjacent to it, the Laboratory supports studies ranging from medicine and ecology to healing and marine biology.

To the northeast, the Artisan Workshop provides state-of-the-art facilities for countless creative and technical disciplines.

While an adjoining Advanced Science Facility continues to support specialised projects currently beyond the scope of everyday Academy instruction.

Beyond every window, vibrant coral forests sway gently in the currents whilst aquatic life daily make a visit. Scattered among the reefs, naturally occurring amber crystals emit a soft golden glow that transforms the ocean floor into an ever-changing tapestry of light. The various submarines rest peacefully on the seabed, whilst being docked on steel-like tubes.

Beyond every window, vibrant coral forests sway gently with the ocean currents as schools of aquatic life make their daily passage through the surrounding reefs. Scattered across the seabed, naturally occurring amber crystals emit a soft golden glow, transforming the ocean floor into an

ever-changing tapestry of light.

Resting peacefully among this breathtaking underwater landscape are the Academy's specialised submarines, securely docked to a series of reinforced support pylons that descend from the Temple itself, linking each vessel directly to the Submarine Hangar below.

Few visitors leave the Observatory without pausing for one final glance through its windows.

One final descent leads to the Academy's lowest level.

Hidden beneath the Observatory lies the Submarine Hangar, a spacious docking hall from which the Academy's fleet of specialised submersibles may be accessed directly through the reinforced docking pylons extending to the ocean floor above.

Designed to support exploration, scientific research, rescue operations and the study of Dac's remarkable marine ecosystems, these vessels allow Jedi to venture deep beneath the waves in search of new discoveries and forgotten mysteries.

While the stars have always called to the Jedi, the oceans of Dac remain equally rich with life, knowledge and untold wonders waiting to be explored.

Our Ranks, Branches and Paths

The Jedi Academy is founded upon a tradition of continual learning, self-improvement and service to others.

Every Jedi, regardless of the rank they may one day attain, begins as a student, guided by those who came before. Through dedication, discipline and years of experience, they gradually assume greater responsibilities within both The Jedi Academy and the wider Republic.

Within The Jedi Academy, every member's journey is defined by three interconnected elements;

  • A Rank reflects a Jedi's level of training, experience and responsibilities within the Academy.

  • A Branch represents the discipline through which they primarily choose to serve the Academy and to extend, the Jedi Order

  • Finally, a Path allows every Jedi to further specialize according to their talents, interests and calling, ensuring that no two careers are ever exactly alike.

Whether one becomes a diplomat, historian, investigator, healer, instructor or defender of the Republic, every role contributes to the continued life of The Jedi Academy and the preservation of the Jedi Order.

   Ranks

Promotion within The Jedi Academy is never regarded as the conclusion of a Jedi's journey, but as recognition that they are prepared to shoulder greater responsibility in service to others. Every advancement reflects continued personal growth, demonstrated maturity and an unwavering commitment to the ideals of the Jedi.

The Initiate

The Initiate represents the very first step upon a Jedi's journey.

Having demonstrated sensitivity to the Force, these students begin their formal education within the Academy, where they are introduced to the philosophy of the Jedi Order, meditation, lightsaber fundamentals and the basic principles that will guide them throughout their lives.

At this stage, curiosity is encouraged, questions are welcomed and mistakes are viewed as valuable opportunities for learning.

Every accomplished Jedi was once an Initiate, taking their first uncertain steps along the path of the Force.

The Padawan

The Padawan serves as an intermediate stage between Initiate and Padawan Learner, recognising those students whose dedication and potential have become evident, while acknowledging that their training is still ongoing.

As Padawans begin exploring more advanced aspects of the Force, refine their understanding of Jedi philosophy and gradually prepare themselves for the responsibilities that accompany formal apprenticeship.

This period encourages independence, critical thinking and personal growth while continuing to build upon the strong foundations established during their earliest years within the Academy.

The Padawan Learner

The Padawan Learner is an apprentice formally entrusted to the guidance of a Jedi Knight or Jedi Master.

While continuing their education alongside fellow students, Padawan Learners also receive individual instruction tailored specifically to their strengths, weaknesses and aspirations. Through lessons, missions and shared experiences, the relationship between Master and Padawan becomes one of the defining elements of a Jedi's development.

It is during this stage that students begin to transform knowledge into wisdom, learning not only how to wield the Force but how to live according to the ideals of compassion, humility and selfless service.

The Jedi Knight

Having successfully completed their apprenticeship, a Padawan is elevated to the rank of Jedi Knight.

Knighthood marks the beginning of a new chapter rather than the end of one's education. Jedi Knights are entrusted to serve the Republic independently, undertake missions across the galaxy and contribute actively to the continued life of the Academy.

In addition to their duties beyond Dac, Knights frequently teach lessons, mentor younger students and assist in preserving the traditions that have been passed from generation to generation.

Within The Jedi Academy, Jedi Knights are traditionally addressed as Master by Initiates, Padawan Learners and Padawans as a mark of respect for the responsibilities they have earned. Although the formal rank of Jedi Master remains distinct, this longstanding custom reflects the respect afforded to those entrusted with guiding the next generation.

The Jedi Master

The rank of Jedi Master is reserved for those who have demonstrated exceptional wisdom, service and dedication to both the Jedi Order and the Academy.

Masters are recognised not simply for their command of the Force or mastery of lightsaber combat, but for their ability to inspire, teach and guide others. They preserve the Academy's traditions, mentor future Knights and provide the experience necessary to ensure that knowledge continues to pass from one generation to the next.

Their legacy is measured not only by their own achievements, but by the countless students whose journeys they have helped shape.

The Local Jedi Councilor

The Local Jedi Council serves as the governing body of The Jedi Academy on Dac.

Local Jedi Councilors are senior members entrusted with safeguarding the Academy's long-term vision, overseeing its daily operation and ensuring that its traditions continue to serve future generations. Working collectively, the Council guides promotions, resolves disputes, oversees major initiatives and represents The Jedi Academy in matters concerning both the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic.

Their responsibility is not to command, but to serve the Academy through wisdom, fairness and thoughtful leadership.

The Local Grand Master

The Local Grand Master serves as the highest-ranking authority within The Jedi Academy.

Entrusted with preserving the Academy's philosophy, traditions and long-term direction, the Local Grand Master works alongside the Local Jedi Council to ensure that the institution continues to flourish while remaining faithful to the ideals upon which it was founded.

Although occupying the Academy's highest office, the Local Grand Master remains first and foremost a servant of the Jedi Order, leading not through authority alone, but through humility, wisdom and personal example.

   Branches

As Padawans continue their education, they gradually discover where their talents and interests naturally lead them.

Every Padawan eventually commits themselves to one of the three traditional Branches of the Jedi Order. While each Branch possesses its own philosophy and areas of expertise, none is considered superior to another. Together, they ensure that the Jedi Order remains capable of meeting the countless challenges presented by an ever-changing galaxy.

The Jedi Consular

The Jedi Consular represents wisdom, diplomacy and a profound understanding of the Force.

Consulars devote themselves to scholarship, healing, meditation and the preservation of knowledge, often serving as diplomats, advisers, historians and researchers throughout the Republic. Rather than seeking conflict, they strive to prevent it, believing that understanding and compassion remain among the Jedi's greatest strengths.

The Jedi Guardian

The Jedi Guardian embodies courage, discipline and unwavering dedication to protecting others.

Guardians stand upon the front lines whenever peace is threatened, mastering lightsaber combat and defensive tactics while safeguarding both the Republic and the innocent. Beyond the battlefield, many Guardians also serve as instructors, mentors and protectors, ensuring that future generations inherit both the martial skill and moral integrity expected of the Jedi.

The Jedi Sentinel

The Jedi Sentinel represents adaptability, resourcefulness and versatility.

Balancing martial discipline with intellectual pursuits, Sentinels excel wherever specialised knowledge and practical problem-solving are required. Whether investigating criminal networks, restoring ancient technology, exploring forgotten worlds or safeguarding the Academy itself, Sentinels bridge the gap between scholarship and action.

Typical Paths for a Jedi Consular

Gifted in diplomacy, negotiation and cultural understanding, they work tirelessly to strengthen alliances, resolve disputes and foster cooperation between worlds. Through wisdom, patience and a deep understanding of the Force, Ambassadors seek peaceful solutions where others might resort to conflict, believing that lasting peace is achieved through mutual understanding rather than victory.

Archivist

Archivists dedicate themselves to preserving the vast knowledge accumulated by the Jedi Order across countless generations. From ancient holocrons and historical records to newly discovered manuscripts and archaeological findings, they ensure that the Academy's Archives remain organised, protected and accessible to future generations. Their work safeguards the wisdom of the past while providing an invaluable foundation for those who continue to expand the Order's understanding of the Force.

Diplomat

Diplomats specialise in mediation, negotiation and conflict resolution. Whether representing the Republic during political disputes or assisting independent systems in resolving local tensions, they seek peaceful outcomes through dialogue, compassion and impartial judgement.

They embody one of the Jedi Order's oldest traditions: protecting peace without the unnecessary use of violence.

Healer

Healers devote themselves to preserving life through their profound understanding of the Living Force. Combining medical knowledge with advanced Force techniques, they treat physical injuries, alleviate suffering and support both the physical and emotional recovery of those entrusted to their care. Whether serving within the Academy's Med Bay or accompanying humanitarian missions throughout the Republic,

Healers represent the Jedi's unwavering commitment to compassion.

Historian

Historians preserve the living memory of both the Jedi Order and the wider galaxy. Through careful research, documentation and interpretation of historical events, they ensure that the triumphs, failures and lessons of previous generations continue to guide the future.

Their work extends beyond simple record keeping, seeking to understand how history shapes the present and influences the decisions yet to come.

Lore Keeper

Lore Keepers act as custodians of the Order's most sacred knowledge. Entrusted with protecting ancient teachings, rare artifacts and the philosophical traditions of the Jedi, they ensure that invaluable wisdom is neither forgotten nor misrepresented.

Their dedication preserves the cultural and spiritual heritage of the Order while inspiring future generations to continue building upon its legacy.

Researcher

Researchers pursue answers to the countless mysteries that continue to shape the galaxy. Their work spans a broad range of disciplines, including biology, archaeology, astrophysics, ecology, history and the nature of the Force itself. Through observation, experimentation and scholarly inquiry, they expand the Academy's collective knowledge while supporting missions, scientific discovery and the continued advancement of Jedi understanding.

Seer

Blessed with an unusually strong connection to the Force, Seers experience visions that transcend the ordinary flow of time. Though the future remains uncertain and ever changing, their insights often provide valuable guidance during periods of uncertainty or crisis. Seers approach their gift with humility, recognising that foresight serves not to determine destiny, but to help the Jedi prepare wisely for the challenges that may lie ahead.

Sage

The Sage represents one of the highest expressions of the Consular tradition, combining profound philosophical insight with exceptional mastery of the Force. Sages often serve as advisers, mentors and respected scholars whose wisdom influences both the Academy and the wider Jedi Order.

Through a lifetime dedicated to learning, teaching and service, they embody the ideals of patience, knowledge and quiet leadership.

Typical Paths for a Jedi Guardian

Ace

Aces are among the Republic's finest pilots, combining exceptional flying ability with instinctive awareness granted by the Force. Whether escorting diplomatic convoys, defending Republic fleets or navigating dangerous environments, they excel in situations where precision, courage and

split-second decision making determine the outcome.

Their mastery extends beyond starfighter combat, making them invaluable during reconnaissance, rescue and exploration missions.

Combat Instructor

Combat Instructors dedicate themselves to preparing future generations of Jedi for the responsibilities that accompany martial service. Through disciplined training, they teach lightsaber forms, defensive techniques, battlefield awareness and the principles of honourable combat.

While their expertise lies in battle, their greatest achievement is measured through the success of the students they mentor.

Peacekeeper

Peacekeepers serve as protectors of law, order and stability throughout the Republic. Often working alongside local governments, Republic authorities and fellow Jedi, they respond to conflicts before they escalate into violence. Through a balanced combination of diplomacy, authority and combat readiness, Peacekeepers strive to ensure that justice prevails while preserving the ideals upon which the Republic was founded.

Watchman

Watchmen remain constantly vigilant against emerging threats to both the Republic and the Jedi Order. Assigned to monitor specific sectors, systems or areas of responsibility, they rely upon patience, observation and experience to identify danger before it can spread.

Their quiet vigilance often prevents crises long before others become aware that one existed.

Weapons Master

Weapons Masters represent the pinnacle of martial discipline within the Guardian tradition. Having devoted countless years to mastering lightsaber combat and the responsible use of weaponry, they continually refine both established techniques and innovative methods of instruction. Their expertise not only strengthens the Order's defenders, but ensures that future generations inherit the highest standards of discipline, restraint and skill.

Typical Paths for a Jedi Sentinel

Archaeologist

Archaeologists venture into forgotten temples, abandoned settlements and ancient civilizations in search of knowledge lost to time. Combining scholarly research with practical fieldwork, they recover artifacts, uncover forgotten histories and preserve discoveries that deepen the Jedi Order's understanding of both the Force and the countless cultures that have shaped the galaxy.

Artisan

Artisans combine creativity, craftsmanship and technical expertise to construct, restore and maintain many of the tools upon which the Academy depends. From lightsabers and holocrons to specialised equipment and ceremonial artifacts, their work preserves tradition while embracing innovation. Every creation reflects both technical precision and the Jedi philosophy of balance between form and function.

Biologist

Biologists devote themselves to understanding the extraordinary diversity of life throughout the galaxy. Their studies range from ecosystems and wildlife to rare plant life, marine environments and the intricate relationship between living organisms and the Force. Their research supports conservation efforts, medical advancement and the Academy's commitment to preserving the natural balance of the Living Force.

Investigator

Investigators specialise in uncovering the truth hidden beneath uncertainty, deception and criminal activity. Through careful observation, analytical reasoning and disciplined use of the Force, they solve mysteries, expose corruption and assist Republic authorities in maintaining justice.

Their work frequently places them where patience, discretion and sound judgement prove more valuable than brute strength.

Temple Guard

Temple Guards dedicate themselves to safeguarding the sanctity, security and traditions of the Jedi Academy. Entrusted with protecting its halls, students, archives and sacred spaces, they stand as vigilant defenders of everything the Academy represents.

Their presence serves not only as a shield against external threats, but also as a constant reminder of the discipline, honour and responsibility expected of every Jedi who walks within its walls.

While the following Paths represent the vocations most commonly associated with each Branch, they are intended as guiding traditions rather than rigid limitations. More information about each path can be found in our Guides section.

The Jedi Academy recognises that every individual's journey is unique, and members may, through experience, aptitude and Role-Play, pursue responsibilities more commonly associated with another Branch.

Ultimately, a Jedi's Branch reflects their philosophy and primary discipline, while their Path reflects the manner in which they choose to serve

The Jedi Academy.

Our Place in the Universe

The Jedi Academy exists within the established chronology of Star Wars: The Old Republic, embracing the lore, history and atmosphere created by the game while weaving its own stories naturally into that living galaxy.

Rather than existing as an isolated narrative detached from the wider world, The Jedi Academy has always sought to become one institution among many. One voice within the larger Jedi Order, one Temple among countless other places where the light of the Force continues to endure in.

Our home lies upon the ocean world of Dac. A prosperous Core Republic world, Dac has long been celebrated for its technological innovation, breathtaking oceans and the enduring alliance between the Mon Calamari and the Quarren.

Protected by the Republic Navy and situated far from the front lines of the Great Galactic War, it provides a measure of stability rarely found elsewhere in the galaxy.

Yet The Jedi Academy was never established because Dac required large numbers of Jedi.

Quite the opposite.

The Jedi High Council deliberately chose a world where peace already prevailed.

Far removed from the political intrigue of Coruscant and the constant military activity surrounding Tython, The Jedi Academy offers an environment where Jedi may devote themselves to learning, reflection and service without the distractions that often accompany the Order's more prominent enclaves.

Our Temple therefore remains relatively modest in size.

It is not intended to rival the great Jedi Temples on Coruscant or Tython. Instead, it serves as a specialized institution where smaller numbers of Jedi can receive individual guidance, pursue scholarly research and prepare for lives dedicated to service across and within the Republic.

Its greatest strength lies not in its size, but in its purpose.

Nestled upon a secluded elevated plateau above Dac's endless oceans, the Academy remains largely unknown to the wider galaxy. While Republic officials, senior members of the Jedi Order and trusted allies naturally know of its existence, it attracts little public attention. To most citizens, it is simply another quiet Republic installation overlooking the sea. This relative anonymity allows the Academy to preserve an atmosphere of contemplation while remaining ready to answer the Republic's call whenever assistance is required.

Life within The Jedi Academy rarely remains confined to Dac for long.

Students eventually leave the Temple to participate in diplomatic missions, archaeological expeditions, humanitarian relief efforts, military operations, criminal investigations and scientific research throughout Republic space. Some return after weeks. Others after months. Many eventually become teachers themselves, passing on their experiences to the generations that follow.

One of the defining characteristics of the Academy has always been its willingness to collaborate with others. The Jedi Order is far larger than any single Temple, and our Role-Playing reflects that reality. Throughout the years, our members have regularly undertaken joint missions, shared ceremonies and collaborative storylines alongside numerous Jedi communities across Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Within our own continuity, we acknowledge the established Jedi Temple and organizations such as Task Force Nova, while also recognizing the existence of many other Praxeums, Enclaves and Republic institutions created by fellow Role-Playing communities. Rather than competing for prominence, we believe these communities strengthen one another by presenting different perspectives on what it means to serve the Jedi Order.

The Republic is vast enough to contain many stories.

No single Academy should stand at the centre of them all.

For this reason, we actively encourage crossover Role-Play. Characters may attend lessons hosted by allied guilds, participate in inter-Temple conferences, embark upon joint expeditions or find themselves serving alongside Jedi trained far from Dac. Such encounters enrich our own stories while contributing to a broader, shared interpretation of the Old Republic era.

The Jedi Academy therefore sees itself not as an isolated community, but as part of a much larger network of storytellers.

Because the Star Wars galaxy has always belonged not only to its greatest heroes, but also to the countless ordinary Jedi whose quiet acts of wisdom, compassion and courage ensured that hope continued to endure.

That is where The Jedi Academy finds its place.

Not at the centre of the galaxy, but as one small beacon of light within it.

Where We Are

Our Academy and community are deeply rooted within the universe of Star Wars: The Old Republic, embracing the rich lore, history and atmosphere established throughout the Old Republic era.

While our stories primarily unfold during the timeline of Star Wars: The Old Republic, our philosophy and world-building also draw inspiration from the events of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II – The Sith Lords, allowing our Role-Play to remain firmly grounded within the wider Star Wars universe while telling original stories of our own.

Alongside The Jedi Academy itself, we maintain an active presence on our official Discord-server, accessible through the Comport (Communications Portal) tab.

Serving as the Academy's primary communication platform, Discord provides dedicated spaces for both In-Character and Out-of-Character interaction.

It is here that members organise Role-Play, participate in community discussions, request assistance, share ideas and remain informed about ongoing projects and Academy developments.
