Biography

As of speaking on this date of [Scribbled through, another date–.. Scribbled through]. I am making a fresh record on this youngling that we have brought in our mist.

My name is Zarek Mulor, Jedi Knight. We’ve interrogated him thoroughly as we could in our limited means of doing so. Here I will explain forth the story of the youngling named Robuun.

Harsh Sands, Harsher People:

While the man wasn’t keen to let much on with his younger years, we did pry out of Robuun that he came from a world of dunes and where the people were equally harsh as the land itself. Despite the harshness the world itself did praise and function as a supposed civilization. He described his younger years not being of the wisdom of words or that of counting the days when the next vacation came in. He described proudly that he had better duties to uphold in the household he was in and that he must not stagnate, unlike the others were doing at school. He told him how his father, at his young age, had taken him off school to learn the teachings of many important things. The art of oil, wrench, sweat and credits. He told in great detail with the shop they had they worked on various things. Speeders, Pods and even the rare spaceship.

For a while he told us this went alright- up to his mid teen years, until the family had reasons to leave. We asked him what he meant with this and the only reply he could muster was that the house became emptier. The young man carried along with that a sorrowful look.

I’ve been Everywhere” - Geoff Smack, Young Man’s Ambitions

(He insisted we put this title in, otherwise he would’ve jumped out of the shuttle while we’re close to the ground)

With the empty household and the harsh trade he had on his old planet with his father. Robuun explained how they chased the winds of racing across the galaxy with his father. Both of them had gathered a fine tuning to each other, the teamwork was flawless. He was the oil and his father was the cog. The young man beamed with pride alike that of a dog making its master happy when he commented this. They went planet after planet. Working on racers’ pods, speedsters and more which he would not disclose with us. Along with that they betted on races, won and lost and celebrated equally with every loss and win.

The young man too spoke of other deeds than tinkering with his father. He had a friend back on his journeys which he met often. Robuun told him he's a mechanic like himself. And his fondness in tinkering was with blasters- a man which exports them too around the.. galaxy. He told how the both of them often went out on the street to scare the local thugs, but more often to go out hunting on the local wildlife. We asked him why he told us this, as this could be downright poaching and vigilantism. This could set him a fine of credits that could last him and his pa a lifetime. He shrugged, smiling. He took the plea deal of being a Jedi, a hero, what could go wrong?

He's a foolish man and shall be judged as such, one day or the other but that is outside our order.. for now.

Nonetheless. The said man that Robuun’s friend is we asked around for (before the young man was caught by us). There is a dubious reputation hanging around him and he is best to be treated lightly. He is neither a hero or a menace. They fitted him to be the “The Man at the Wrong Time.”

A Inkling of the Force, A Inkling for Greed:

While seemingly not too proud of it, the man did seem keen he was happy to have it. At some point of time it seemed that Robuun discovered he was Force sensitive. He described it as a spur of the moment thing, striking the right cog to make a speedster work. Having found his new talent he used it in the races he, and his father were betting in. Moving pebbles in front of engines, making them heat up and fume or, as he described, “sticking your finger up life’s [Redacted] and making it your [Redacted]”. But despite the cocky behaviour of him, during this, he seemed to regret something. And not what he has done as -we- came to discover, but that he wasn’t more subtle about it. With stakes higher in the races, and as we discovered the foul play.. (As we were also watching the races too). With the force he pulled wires out of racer pods and wrapped them around lighting poles, nearly hitting civilians and further than that. He activated the -big- lights of the racer pods to blind the ones in front of him, getting one of the riders disqualified- one even almost crashed into another racer.

We sensed within the Force that these were no mere accidents and were quick to track down our supposed target we’ve been tracking for a few weeks now. We weren’t however prepared to deal with a force sensitive [Redacted] with a knack of cybernetics..

And the Truth Will Set You Free:

It came quickly to his senses that we were hot on his trail. He dashed through the crowd, evading us with ease even as we tried to push the crowd aside. We lost track of him, but alike a splitting headache- we could feel it, feel his essence as he tried to block one of the pathways leading to him with the force. But he failed. He failed because his focus was lofty and the sight of my brother, Morguun, chasing after him sent him running before more damage could be done. For a man covered in plates and bionics he was fast, deadly fast. We chased him through alleyways, even going as far to chase him over rooftops and, my brother Morguun, climbing on a crane and propelling himself off it to catch Robuun, without much avail.

We eventually came upon a residence after what seemed to be hours of chasing, trapping the man. The lights of the city didn’t reach here, no city generators. Only the force of nature of fire running in make-shift oil lamps. We asked him to come out but no reply, along with the neighborhood turning a quiet ear to us. Man, woman or Jedi, we weren’t welcomed here with our business. As me and Morguun entered the residence it was quiet. Only the eerie buzzing of a radio that was recently turned on and a room, barely lit. Step by step we cleared the rooms, step by step we tried to remain calm but Robuun was not stuck with us, we were stuck with him. As my brother Morguun, with the help of the Force, tried to locate him- a sudden click, metal meeting metal and rope wearing its strength down as a trigger was pulled back. Morguun’s knee was blown smoothly off with a trapdoor scattergun! A trap he laid down for us.

In the corner of the dark room, eyeing him, was the looming menace coming out of the shadow which was Robuun. I took on a defensive position, assuming to execute my attack with a Sun Djem. As he raised his wrench, a pile of sand was thrown into my eyes. I was knocked to the ground. My skull was buzzing, the Force I like to believe, grounded me back to reality as he was about to swing his spiked wrench into my skull. But perhaps it was Morguun’s screaming that caught me on to cease the life on the oil lamp above him and turn the room dark. He struck naught and I avoided death between a moment of light and darkness. I gathered my lightsaber, got my bearings, its glow beaming in the dark.

There, in the corner stood Robuun. Oil was dripping into the room and he held a lighter in his hand. I stared at him, he stared me down in return. It was clear what was going to happen in the next few seconds if I hadn’t talked him down. From our intense talk we exchanged it turned out he thought we were part of a gang. Gangsters having figured out the truth of his foul play and we discovered that he did not cheat for his own benefit solely- but that for his father too.

A Pardon, Even for the Worst Acts:

After having talked down Robuun and figured out his play. It was a clear deal to me that this man, despite his cruel acts, was misguided and could be a worthy… brother … in our midsts. I made this deal to him, clear that if he refused we would’ve handed him to the local authorities. The man acted in doubt, he shuffled about. Eventually he agreed to our deal but only if he could visit his dad and explain the situation. Where we got.. extorted in one way or the other. The father, despite the man having a wanted man in his midst, was saying that the local authorities aren’t -keen- on kidnappings either and should he be forced, he will call the authorities back on him.

I must admit, personal as this may not have been on Robuun’s behalf, I was tempted to force my way to getting this boy to safety as I now saw where the issue lied in this, but perhaps this was my emotions getting the best of me after Morguum being carried off to the local quack in order to not draw.. attention upon us -all-.

I gave him a hefty sum of credits for the young man and with it, the custody of the boy was ours and not long after- we reached our shuttle, where we met more of our own.

To whomever reading this after the elders have read this record. I wish you my sincere luck with this young man if you are to engage with him and I wish upon you and upon him truly for the Force to be with you and him.
