Biography
Jessara was born Force-sensitive alongside her twin sister, Sonyasan.

Jessara had blue hair, while Sonyasan had white hair. They were orphans, with no father or mother that they knew of. They were born on Tatooine and survived together for a time. They were slaves, being orphans on a planet such as Tatooine. Jessara spent most of her life alone, with her only goal in life being to protect her sister. They were inseparable. Jessara was the antisocial, cold-but-kind-to-her-sister-and-close-friends type. Sonyasan, on the other hand, was the clingy, trust-no-one type, only sticking by Jessara's side. Their lives weren't easy, but they had each other, and that was enough.

Jessara suspected she had some connection to the Force for a long time, but she couldn't prove it. You see, she had a dream. A dream where she became a Jedi Knight and protected this world and her sister from all its evil. Childish, yes, but it was her dream. Sadly, with no real way to train, she gave up on that dream, deciding that maybe protecting her sister was enough for her.

Sonyasan stole at times, much to Jessara's disapproval, but it was Tatooine. Who doesn't steal? Their owner couldn't sell the girls off, so he instead used them to run errands, deliver things, eavesdrop for him and all that kind of stuff. He was not a very nice person. Jessara learned a bit of hand-to-hand combat, which was necessary on Tatooine. You can't survive with nice words there. But did that mean she was an angry, talk-with-her-fists kind of girl? No, actually. She was kind, often hating that she needed to resort to such violent acts, but such was life on Tatooine. Sonyasan, on the other hand, loved violence and power. It was apparent in her every action. Why be kind when kindness gets you nothing? That was her philosophy.

So yeah, that's the story of how Jessara and Sonyasan lived for sixteen years on Tatooine. Tough, but Jessara never gave up, and she didn't know her life was about to change for the better. Very, very soon.

Cut to Master Vass Ro, a Jedi Knight. Not a famous Jedi, but a Jedi Knight nonetheless. He never took any Padawans. He preferred to stay alone because, you see, he was an explorer of the galaxy, looking for new students for the Jedi Academy all over the galaxy, so he never had time to train his own Padawan as of yet.

One day, while he was on a diplomatic mission on Tatooine, resolving an issue involving the Sand People and the Jawas, he sensed something while on the planet. A highly potent Force user. Two, in fact. Two people with extremely high Force potential. He couldn't pinpoint them. It was as if their presence was blocked by something, or perhaps their abilities had not yet been awakened. Nonetheless, he continued with his mission, but while doing so he kept looking for these two Force users.

On his way to the Tatooine cantina, he stopped by a salesperson to get some information about the area. Maybe someone knew of the Force users on Tatooine. But, like fate itself, a little girl tried to pickpocket him. Unsuccessfully, of course. Master Vass was not stupid and caught the girl, and the girl was none other than Sonyasan. The moment he grabbed her, he sensed it. The Force within her was strong, but extremely dark. For a brief moment, he saw all of that dark potential within Sonyasan.

Then someone yelled, "Hey, Sonyasan! How many times did I tell you not to do that?"

There was a calm energy. Hopefully, this was the other Force user. Unlike Sonyasan's energy, this one's was calm and full of light, with some darkness, but not enough to completely cover it. Jessara approached. She apologized to the Jedi Knight and left with her twin sister before Master Vass could even say anything.

He was shocked, something that hadn't happened to him in a long, long time. He decided to observe the sisters for now instead of approaching head-on. He needed to be sure. He followed them around and saw how cautious Jessara was, almost as if she knew someone was watching. He knew she was Force-sensitive, with incredible potential.

A few days passed until he finally approached Jessara and Sonyasan's owner and spoke with him. The man didn't know who their parents were, just that they had been left on his doorstep when they were little and that they looked odd. The man, being the scum he was, suggested that Master Vass buy them and said they were good slaves. They could steal and pretty much do anything you wanted, the man said.

Master Vass, ever the calm man, just turned away and approached Jessara when she was alone later that day. Jessara was sitting on a hill, staring at Tatooine's two suns. Master Vass approached from behind.

"It's beautiful, isn't it? The galaxy?"

Jessara, on alert, stood up in a fighting stance.

Master Vass calmly said, "Whoa, whoa. No need to fret, little one. I'm not here because of that day."

Jessara was skeptical at first, but she eventually came around. Master Vass explained who he was, what he was, why he was there and how he had found them. Jessara couldn't believe it. This was her chance. An actual Jedi Knight. She could go and train and become a Jedi!

But then Master Vass revealed that if she were to become a Jedi, she needed to let go of Sonyasan. He did not explain fully why, nor did he tell her about the dark path he sensed in Sonyasan. He simply said, "Jedi can't have attachments. Think of the offer I gave you, little one."
He left her alone that day.

The next morning came, and after much thought, Jessara reached a conclusion. She would accept the man's offer, become a Jedi, and then return for Sonyasan. She approached Master Vass at the meeting spot they had agreed on and told him that she accepted, but she insisted, "Don't tell Sonyasan I'm leaving. She can't take it. I'll leave a note explaining everything and say my goodbyes."

Master Vass agreed and paid for Jessara's freedom. He took her around town, gave her good food and good clothes, got her some necessary supplies from his own ship and ordered a shuttle to transport her off the planet. He stated that he couldn't come with her, as his mission had yet to be finished on Tatooine, but he handed her a note and all the necessary supplies for the journey.
They said their goodbyes, and Jessara was off to train at the Jedi Academy, letting go of the past and focusing on the future.
