Born on Iridonia in 11 ATC and later migrated to Coruscant, Hekoten wasn't revealing much of his Force-related connections or sightings of his abilities.

 

Rather as a quiet, yet curious, child, one could speculate he was just a normal toddler with nothing special in his soul. All what he recalled from that special day, was nothing more than just a blur of emotions and scenes, nearly blending together.

 

There was a shock, there was an awe. As it began with just a local festival, that included also typically safe kind of fireworks for children, Hekoten unconsciously moved around one - reaching a tiny hand to grasp it, to observe how it was pushed away a bit.

 

Of course, rumours tend to spread - especially if noticed by other children. The rest was just a matter of time: a cascade of events, that led a young Zabrak to be transferred to Tython.

 

Not even a full year would go around, given a specific, drastic change of situation that occured on 17 ATC, regarding such peaceful and serene planet. How the calm, inspiring lands turned into an abomination, caused by the tides of war.

 

Not much can be said about Hekoten's part in there - aside being rescued and moving somewhere else, first Coruscant, then Smuggler's Moon across the years.

 

As the initial teachings remained, whatever was remembered at least, he wouldn't be going around and show such impressive tricks, to avoid that unnecessary attention.

 

But perhaps, one day, he'd be either scouted or found out - and yet begin anew a journey to the Light.
